Build your own instruments from household materials: cardboard tube drums and rainsticks, rubber band guitars, PVC pipe panpipes and more! Go Green! Recycled Art (6-8) - Starting by exploring the journals of Dan Eldon, we’ll create our own visual journals from found objects and recycled materials. We’ll also explore the shadowboxes of artist Joseph Cornell and learn about the art of assemblage. Finally, we’ll make collographs while learning about collage and texture. All of our projects will use discarded and recycled materials so we can go green!
